Tales of Phantasia

Well this game came out a while ago. It's about a bunch of dudes who have to go back in time to stop and evil. Typical RPG storyline. The battle sytem is a bit differnt though. You control the Hero in all the battles. You make him move and attack. You can make the other people use skills when you want them to or they do it by themselves. Other than the fact the some of the things are impossible (Morila Minshaft GRRRR!!) it is very fun.

One of my favorites as well. a while back I had an Arche sig. I can't wait to get Legendia. I'm way overdue for getting that.

I can sell you legendia if you're interested. Basically I bought it because I was on this RPG craze and don't really have time for games at the moment. It's practically brand new, I only played it for about half an hour.

As for Phantasia, I've never played the game, I was thinking about getting the GBA version, just for the sake of playing it, but came to realize I don't really feel like playing it at the moment.

Just get the rom. True, it's illegal, true, it's bad, true, it's hazardeous for your health ( Demons will haunt you forever ), but it's worth it. The SNES version is, IMO, superior to the GBA's ( although GBA's got some new stuff ). The PSX version is basically the SNES's with a new character.

The PSX version was a lot better than the SNES version. PSX>SNES>GBA. PSX had another character, improved graphics, cooking, overworld skits, titles, chester had techs, and there's probably more that I missed.

I like Tales of Phantasia, but I think there are better 'Tales of' games out there, like Tales of Symphonia, for example. Tales of Phantasia seems to get tedious after a few weeks, but I got pretty obsessed with Symphonia.

Anyone remember that part? I found that funny as hell.

I remember playing this game back in the day on the SNES and really liking it. I heard about the GBA version from one of my friends who didn't play the SNES version and I couldn't believe how much they had changed it and made it worse.
