Race: Kitsune

Description: Short wi/ black hair (pulled back into a ponytail) and orange bangs, yellow/amber eyes & fox tail. Wears a yin-yang style windbreaker (orange & black) wi/ black jeans.

Bio: Twin of Zenkai the Destoyer, Jotai is a three-tailed fox demon.

Weakness: Doesn't think things through at all, not very strong in comparison to other demons, and bleeds easily.

Durimn- The land of Knights and Magi, the center of the Kingdom

Aajn- Mountainus Land of Dragontamers and Evles, located in the North

Urgoth- Land of Mercenaries and Barbarians, located along the Western shorelines

Nazu - Forestlands of Demons and Dark-Elves, located in the South

A long time ago, the five kingdoms were united under a just and fair leader, King Tyrus. He ruled with a calm and gentle hand, guiding the nations towards prosparity.

Of course, the king had many enemies, and soon dissent began to grow. One day, in his own court, the king was killed, and the throne was fought over between the key conspirators, the king's own sons Marcus and Gyrn.

Their battle was not an outright one, the two often hired assassins or mercenaries to try and kill the other. Marcus, the more cunning of the two, devised a plot to kill his brother. During the banquet celebrating their father's achievements, Marcus had his servent poisen Gyrn's drink.

With Gyrn out of the way, and with only Marcus left to take the throne, the five kingdoms fell into a state near civil war. With the newly kinged Marcus ruling over the lands, no one dared rise up in fear of death.

After years of tyrannical rule, a group of warriors has begun to form in order to overthrow the king. Though they'll face perilous tasks and more often than not stare into the very face of death itself, only time will tell if they may succeed.

Jotai quietly scanned the rag-tag group in front of her, mentally raising an eyebrow in disbelief. Was this the best the kingdoms had to offer? Sure, she was certainly no catch herself, but still.

I'm beginning to regret leaving the Nazu...

Sighing, the girl turned her back to the fire.

Beggers can't be choosers.

Biting down her pride, the fox-child stood up and walked over to join the group. Sitting down, still a bit further away than everyone else, Jotai sighed.

"Bunch of talkers, aren't ye?"

When she didn't get an answer, the demon just rolled her eyes. Resting her chin on her palm, staring at the flames.

"I s'pose we should get going?"

When no one made any motion to move, the girl sighed again. It was hard to be a people person when you were barely a person.

Name: Alexi Ferdinand

Race/Job: Human / Thief
Description: 5’8”; handsome; green eyes; short, unkempt, brown hair; black leggings & a tight fitting, black sleeveless shirt.
Weakness: Often impulsive; vain.

Weapons/Powers:
<< Vain Blade & Coffir >> A nimble sword with a matching buckler. The sword is made of a decent quality metal & a strong hilt. The buckler is worn on the left forearm & can be used to deflect minor blows, but isn’t durable enough to be used against strong attacks.
<< Rune Working >> Magic that is mainly used as a diversionary method, though he does boast some pretty strong pyrotechnics.

Bio: A smooth talking thief from Karnish Kingdom. An extremely bright & talented, but often uninterested student, he was expelled from the academy for his mischievous behavior. He’s set out on a trip to prove to the academy that he was meant for great things.

“Aww, I’m sorry. Looks like you loose.” Alexi said with a suave smile. He always won at card games, though that probably could be attributed to his Karnish upbringing - one that necessitated cheating, lying, & stealing as a means of survival.

The man he’d been playing against didn’t look pleased, but coughed up his end of the bargain anyway. “Ne’er trust the thievery of a Karnian” he griped, “Why are you here anyway?”

“Well,” he said, counting up his money & beginning to get up, “let’s just say I have a bit of a score to settle.”

He walked back towards the fire & scoped out some of the new arrivals. He’d already made enough money off of most of the fools in this camp to pay off his debts down at the pub. He chuckled to himself, “So naïve.” Along his stroll past the fire, his eyes struck the body of a kitsune woman.

"A woman? Here to fight?" He thought to himself as he sized her up, "And I thought this was going to be a bore."

He walked over & sat down next to her. “Hey there. Didn’t catch your name earlier. I’m Alexi – Alexi Ferdinand.”

[Tai]

Jotai smiled grimly, exposing her fangs, traditional demon gretting.

"That's because I didn't give it. My name is Konranjotai, but if you wish to live to see your grandchildren, I suggest you call me Jotai."

The kitsune stared at the bruenet man for a second before offering her hand.

"Tis a pleasure to meet you, Ferdinand."

[Ryker]

"That's because I didn't give it. My name is Konranjotai, but if you wish to live to see your grandchildren, I suggest you call me Jotai."

Oh, the frisky type, I see.

He’d assumed she’d meant to intimidate him, but strangely she instead intrigued him further. He’d never really met anyone of a demon race – he’d read a lot about them, but to see one in person was fascinating. He combed her over with his eyes & thought of a million questions to ask her.

"Play it cool man," he thought to himself.

"Tis a pleasure to meet you, Ferdinand."

He took her hand & responded, “I assure you milady the pleasure is all mine.” He gave her a sly smile & laid back. “What brings someone like yourself out for this kind of work?”

Jotai sighed and rolled her eyes playfully, looking forward.

"It is nothing that concerns those outside of my clan." She said elusively, not wanting to bring up her past.

"But if you really require an answer, it is sort of a matter of revenge..."

The demon smiled. "I suppose that can tell you everything and nothing at all..."

Shaking her head, more to herslef, the girl decided to change the subject.

"Think we're going to leave soon?"

Name: Kibly Pesker
Age:12
Gender:Female
Description: 4' 1", weighs 59 lb. She has curly, golden hair, and has light brown eyes. You know, like those cute little kids, the one's parents and adults adore? Whines about everything, until she gets what she wants.

Race/Job: Durimnian, She's unemployed. Sings for money sometimes.

Bio: She's young, and very stubborn, but is very smart for a twelve year old. She always keeps a clear head, and is useful for getting out of a sticky situation. Can charm adults into almost anything. But she's not that nice of a person, and feels she can talk care of herself, though is really scared of many things. Kicked out of magik school because she can't work magik for her life, and for bullying the other littler kids.

Weapon/power: Umarmed, but does have enchanting singing ability. Does steal when she needs to, or if she likes what she sees.

Weakness: Her size, her unexplanable fear of moles.. doesn't work well with other's her age.

(OOC: This is based of of my sister, a little anyway.)

There was a large crash form one side of the camp as a traveling bag went up in smoke.

"-the Hell!" Someone shouted from near the now flaming bags. "Who...wait, you there! Stop you little theif!"

A man can running out of the smoke, wazing a stick. "Where'd that little mongral go?"

He ran back over to his bags to try to put them out.

Jotai noticed a small figure come out from the smoke and try to sneak silently away, a bag clutched in her arms.

"There you are!" The enraged man shouted as he started after the figure. She started to run, and dissapeared behind some bags. The man jumped on them, francticly looking around for the little figure.

"Pweeze Miss..." Jotai jumped as she turned to find a small, soot smeared girl with big, brown eyes tugging on her arm. "Can you help me get away frwom the big scarwy man?" She said, fluttering her eye lashes, trying to look cute.

Jotai looked down in contempt. "No."

[Tai]

"Get over here you little brat!"

Jotai looked up in time to see the irate man grab the child's arm. "Give me that!"

Pushing the man away deftly, the demon stared at the girl. "What did you do?"

The man had goten back up by now, and glared at Jotai. "Mind your own buisness, demon-wench!"

Growling angrily, the kitsune grabbed the man by his collar. "Watch what you say, human."

The man trembled as Jotai let him go, though his resolve didn't weaken. "Just wait till I get you without your fox-slave, brat!"

[Ridgeback]

Kibly was stunned that her charm hadn't seemed to work with the fox-women. It ALWAYS worked on adults...

Kibly decided that whatever was happening now, she wanted no part in it. While the women was grabbing the man by the collar, she slipped behind the man the demon was sitting near.

The man trembled as Jotai let him go, though his resolve didn't weaken. "Just wait till I get you without your fox-slave, brat!"

He realized that he was talking to air and ran off, figuring she had run somewhere farther away, glad to be out of reach of the demon.

Kibly sighed heavily. That was too close. She would need to be more carefull.

Her thoughts were cut off when the man she was crouching behind turned around and looked down at her.

(OOC: What’s with the speaking for other characters? Isn’t that a “no-no” unless you have the permission of the person who controls that character? Hope you guys discussed that beforehand. :P)

“Think we're going to leave soon?"

“Heh, I doubt it. We’ll probably be stuck here for a while,” he said leaning back. As he was about to get comfortable, a crashing sound came from another side of the camp. “Tsk. Oh what now?” he moaned. By the time he was up & to his feet, the confrontation was already past its climax.

"Just wait till I get you without your fox-slave, brat!"

“Hey, hey, hey. Now’s that’s no way to talk to the lady,” Alexi said to the man, nudging him on the shoulder. “Here. This should pay for replacing your things.” He gave the man a few gold coins that he’d won while playing cards earlier.

Alexi turned around & looked down at the little soot-covered girl. She appeared very young & quite mischievous. “Heh, reminds me of my younger days,” he thought to himself.

He knelt down & put his right hand on her shoulder. “Hey. You okay?" He wiped some of the soot from her face, "What are you doing in a place like this, little one?”

(OOC: I think we should make another thread with things we want to do for this rpg so we can talk about all that stuff before we post.)

Kibly looked up at him with all the cuteness and innocence she could muster.

"This should be easy. He looks like such a sucker for my act. And he even payed for this necklace I stole. Wonder how much I could get for it...?"

She made a fake sniff as if she was about to cry. "I don't have any parwents, I don't even have a pwace to live. Could you help me, pwease mister?"

She giggled inwardly. This should make him feel so sorry for. Maybe... no, no one ever helped her for long. They always got tired of her, after awhile. Why would he help her for more then a few days...?

[Tai]

Jotai snorted, shaking her head disbelievingly.

"Well, good luck with that, Ferdinand," She sighed, obviously not wanting to offer any help. "Kids really aren't my thing."

Turning back to the child, Jotai knelt down so that they were eye to eye. Staring hard at the little girl, the demon asked, "What did you steal, kit?"

(OOC: I would just like to add that I seriosously suck at RPing... that is all.)

Kibly was no fool, however young she might be. She realized that sooner or later someone would ask about what was inside the bag.

She opened the bag and took out two small loaves of bread and a few peices of fruit. One of the loaves she had already bitten, indicating where she had hid the small necklace. While stealing the bread, she had put the necklace inside it. She doubted that the man she had stolen it from realized that the necklace was missing yet.


"I just stole some bwead and fwuit. Pwease don't take it from me, I'm vewy hungwy." She looked up at Tai and Alexi, smiling sweetly.

Death Reaper: A sword that can slay or weaken most lesser demons.
Cross Dagger: A small dagger in the form of a cross. Can weaken all demons.

Holy Blast: Uses sword with combination with dagger to create a powerful blast of holy-ness.
Race: Dark Elf
Description: Tall, about 6' 2". Has medium length brown hair usally messy. He has several scars and his arms and face.
Bio: Became a demon-slayer in training after his best friend was killed by a demon. His parents were killed by Bandits when he was 5 and another family took him in.
Weakness: Is smart but not very athletic. He can run fast but not for very long.
Other: w00t!

IC: Z walked down a long strech of road. He eventually saw a fire. As he ran to it he saw a fox-demon sitting near it.

"Great. Just what I need. Demons. Maybe they're not evil. No, all demons are evil. They are trying to kill us. Well maybe, maybe, he'll help me."

Z walked closer to the demon. "Demon and company! Do you pose any threat to man kind? If not I can help you on what your doing. The elf put his hand on the hilt of his sword ready to attack if needed.

OOC: I know your a female. My char is jsut like that.

"Demon and company! Do you pose any threat to man kind? If not I can help you on what your doing."

Jotai raised her eyebrow. Who was this guy? Not everyone had the guts to just walk up to a demon and say something like that.

"What if I say no?" She stated monotonously, eying the man's sword. "Mankind does not interest me, and neither should it you."

Jotai shifted her stance nonchalantly. "You are a dark elf, are you not? If we hail from the same lands, there is no need to fight..."

"If you say no then I may, MAY, trust you. I'm always on guard. I never said i wanted to fight you. I just asked if you were a threat to man kind. It's called 'getting to know possible enemys.'"

"Now, what are you doing here exactly?" Z began to trust the dmeon a little more. Most demons would have tried to attack him. Other would have run. "If you need assistance with anything non-man destructive I may help you. For a price."

[Tai]

Jotai rolled her eyes impatiently. Why was he so redundant?

"If by 'price' you mean, 'keep your teeth', then yes, I'll pay you." She stated, her temper rising.

"And non-man? Then it's okay to kill anything else?" She bristled angrily. "Go burn yer tail, elf." She snapped, turning. "I don't need your help."

[Ridgeback]

Kibly watched the conversation impassively. She had no care for whatever they were talking about, so long as she got away with her loot. Although she hated to be ignored, she turned her back on the fire, looking for a way to escape the area before that man realized that his jewels were gone.

Kiby gimanced as she looked around. There was nothing out here, how was she supposed to get back to town? She hadn't expected to get stranded out here.
