Artist Styles

If you draw, or have drawn. Do you think using your own style is better than using another's?

I kinda use other people's styles at first, then mold it to my liking. But the problem I normally have with that is that I change the way I draw a lot.

I use my own style, which is sorta a blend between realistic and animeish. Its weird, and I usually draw in pen, so my works are always really sketchy and stuff, and sorta overshadowed. I never color them or anything, I just leave them in my notebook.

I draw in pen, almost everything is anime.. but this style called SD, I can t draw very well in other styles

I don't draw people really.
Never been to good at drawing people but if I do it's my own style.

It's much better to use your own style in general because then it's really coming form you not just seeing something and copying it which is kinda cheating ^_^

I sometimes use anime style, but most of the time I just use realistic stuff. Hmmm, but anime is taking up more space on my drawing percents..

i can hardly draw a line straigth at 1cm so i never can draw very good but i did 30 pgs of writing in 3mins but i cant type fast weird isnt it

30 A4 pages of writing in 3 minutes is impossible...

Unles you were only writing squiggles... even then with the time it takes to turn each page and such you couldn't do it.

Don't worry about typing your hands are too small to reach all the keys.

My style is mixed of everything, from people, anime, game, computer renders, etc... A little bit of everything

I can't draw people.... They all turn out having elf ears or tails...

Mine is very 'immature' anime. It's a mix of Digimon with Naruto. Though how Naruto is immature I don't know....

Hm, I liked digimon for about 4 years. Until the 3rd season, then I stopped.

I Like my style much better then others. Mostly because I can't draw in other people's styles. Sometimes I'll see someone's art and say 'I like the way they draw their eyes' or somthing so I'll swich my style a little but it usually ends up haveing a different twist in the end to make it original. My style can't really be put into any category except anime I guess. Sometimes I'll draw digimon-ish drawings because they're fun and less complicated.
