A Korean artist, Hyung-Tae Kim did the artwork. The original Magna Carta game (Magna Carta: Phantom of Avalanche, still featuring the main character Calintz (unknown if its in the same world), was only on the PC for Korea).

Then a second game was made, Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata (Tears of Blood in the US for religious reasons), in Japan, and then was localized in America.

In Efferia where there is incessant antagonism between human beings and Yasons, the end of war can hardly be achieved, they were holding in reckless detestation more and more repeating a war of attrition instead. Those who lost everything precious to themselves destroyed the lives of the other parties with the tenacity which is close to madness, in consequence more and more people gave themselves up to the hateful antipathy.

The battle system is really different from other RPGs. You rely on "styles" which most of the time have 4 different attacks, and they rely on Chi (basic elements of the world). The Chi changes from area to area, so the more Chi you have, the stronger your attack will be. If you have no Chi, you can't use that attack, etc.

Its a fun game.

Me and my brother just enjoy playing it on Insanity mode. You get these motorcycle bikes in that mode that go up to 300 MPH, and you have to race to the finish line, dodging traffic and eliminating the other players w/ weapons.

We barely finish first, but the crashing is just so much fun, cause you get launched in the air.

Though this one is surprisingly good. Then again, I'm kind of turned off by this whole "underground" theme they have going for the game.
