Author's Note: I have peculiar dreams. Let me start with the old dreams, and from there, progress towards the more recent ones.
Pt. 1 (As in, this is what I dreamt one night): The cousins of my father's side were there, along with my godbrothers. I remember we were going to play Hide-and-Seek, but out of the loud laughter and chattering, we heard the doorbell.
Everyone froze. We could hear something heavy fall onto the floor. Bro and I barely opened the door that led to the laundry room. Out of my small, oval eyes, I could see the Scorpion King. Half-man, half-scorpion, He stood on top of the crushed pieces of wood that was my front door (In-place of a normal scorpion head was The Roc. A good image to describe him by is when he played as the Scorpion King in the movie The Mummy 2).
"Search upstairs, first! Destroy all in your path!" He roared. Almost immediatley, his slaves of Lurkers crawled into the house from the sides of the walls, creeping like ants up the stairs.

The King quickly grasped at something and breathed in. And soon, his head turned towards us, piercing his fury into my eyes.
Pt. 2 (As in, this is what I dreamt another night): The sun was blocked by the greedy clouds of gray, covering truth from the world. Bro, Mike, and I stood silently, looking from Mike's window. Outside, the Lurkers were scattered everywhere--the trees, automobiles, and over pedestrians. A beggar and her wrapped baby were trying to avert a Lurker's attack. She was on the roof of my house, limited in her escape.
The Lurker jumped and grabbed the child, tearing it limb from limb, gorging its fragile body. It then came at the beggar and bit her neck. All that was heard were the screams and crying of childrne. There was a snap of bones and the body of the beggar lay still.
I avoided staring and directed myself at my dirtied clothes. Bloody and torn. Bro had scratches over his brow, and Mike's glasses were cracked.
We were the only ones left.
